Kinder Kitchen Healthy Kid's Recipe - Cheesy Semolina

Cheesy Semolina (1-2 portions)

Ingredients:

30 grams semolina
280ml of whole milk
4 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese/cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil

Method:
  1. In a saucepan, add the semolina to the milk slowly and bring to boil
  2. Low the heat and simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally (always good to refer to the cooking instructions on the pack of semolina as cooking time can vary)
  3. When ready, add the grated cheddar/parmesan cheese to taste and a swirl of olive oil. For cheese lovers add another tbsp. of cheese
  4. Allow to cool slightly and serve

Will definitely keep this recipe in mind when I start weaning my four month old - do you have any other recipes which I could double up for a six month plus baby and a 2 year old? (oh and me as well, of course!)

risotto is also a very good meal that can feed botha 6 month old and a 2 year old...use just fresh chicken stock for the 6 month old but add vegetables and meat to the risotto for your 2 year old

This is a great idea. Only served this up as a pudding before. I usually grate some pear or apple and add a little vanilla essence to it.
